As a global music icon, Taylor Swift has the attention of countless Americans, who are eagerly anticipating whether the 14-time Grammy winner will publicly back Kamala Harris's 2024 presidential campaign.
Although Swift has yet to explicitly declare her support, some of her devotees suspect she may have given a subtle nod in favor of the Democratic hopeful. This suspicion arose from a photo Swift shared on Tuesday (Aug. 6), from her Warsaw Eras Tour at PGE Narodowy, which features a silhouette resembling Harris in the background, clad in a pantsuit and executing a presidential wave, moving in the opposite direction on stage.
Swift made no mention of the enigmatic female figure in her caption, instead expressing gratitude to her "wonderful crowds" in Poland for being part of the first tour to play three consecutive nights in their stadium. A source close to the pop sensation informed The Hollywood Reporter that the shadowy figure was merely a background singer's silhouette, a common sight in Swift's performances.
Nevertheless, a number of fans turned to social media to hypothesize that the image was the "Anti-Hero" singer's discreet way of endorsing Harris.
“Taylor Swift just subtly supported Kamala Harris and the MAGA crowd is freaking out,” one individual commented on X, while another fan posted, “It seems like it should be a bigger deal that Taylor Swift hinted at Kamala in her Instagram post, but I don’t see many people discussing it.
