American rapper Travis Scott was detained in Paris for a second day on Saturday after being arrested following an altercation at a five-star hotel in the city. According to AFP, a source at the prosecutor’s office confirmed that the rapper’s custody had been extended.
On Friday, Paris prosecutors announced that police had been called to the George V hotel, where Scott was arrested for assaulting a security guard who was trying to separate him from his bodyguard. A representative for Scott stated that his management team was in contact with Parisian authorities to quickly resolve the situation and would provide updates as necessary.
